Tackapausha Preserve Clean Up

The Seaford Wellness Council along
with the Seaford Lions Club, Seaford
Chamber of Commerce, Seaford High
School Key Club and other Seaford
residents  cleaned the trails and area
surrounding the museum on Saturday,
June 5, 2010.

Many bags of debris were removed and a
BBQ sponsored by the Seaford Lions
Club was held afterwards for all
volunteers.

We thank Lois and Wendy of the
Tackapausha museum and all
volunteers for makiing the event a
success.  Much more is needed to
resore the preserve after much damage
from vandals and the severe weather.
The Wellness Council is proud to sponsor a
presentation on March 9, 2010
given by Big Brothers and Big Sisters
to the Middle School students.

The program is called
"Playing It Safe"
and addresses,
Internet Safety and Cyber-bullying.
